This is an exciting day for the speech pathologist in me! People keep asking me if Davis is walking (he isn't yet). I don't really care so much about when he walks as I do about talking! I think today we had our first real word. He was at Grandma and Grandpa Wright's last night and my Dad told us when we picked him up that he kept going over to their dog's kennel and saying 'dog'. I didn't really believe it until I heard it today so I had to get it on video! I am also pretty sure he said 'uh oh' yesterday after I said it. Oh, the excitement! We are going to have to start building his vocabulary immediately! He is sure to be a language over-achiever! Steve always jokes about how Davis is in speech-pathology boot camp.

Oh, Summer...I totally agree with you on this one. (I think that I should have been a speech patholigist>.) Andrew is not walking, either, but he is talking--quite a bit actually and I couldn't be more pleased. Unfortunately, sometimes he talks so much that we plug him up with his pacifier just for some peace.
Oh my gosh I am tearing up that is so sweet, I love my little man I can't believe that he is talking. It was very clear what a smart boy!! Give him kisses from Aunt Chell! I love you all so much can't wait to see you!
How cute is that! He is sooo cute. I can't believe it has been so long since I saw you guys. This is my first time on a blog and it's quite fun... :)
