Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween. I think the kids seriously collected about 8 pounds of candy. So much fun trick or treating with our cousins and neighbors.

Emery was priceless this year. I couldn't get enough of her in this costume. Those antennas never stopped moving! She finally learned to say 'trick treat' today just in time to go out and get some candy. She wanted to go up to every house!

I was a little lazy this year-usually I make the kids costumes and have them match but I just didn't get to it this time so Davis got to be whatever he wanted and Mario it was. He loved it, so that is what matters, right?!

Emery's bag got so heavy she couldn't carry it so we emptied both her and Davis' bags into the stroller basket. She had caught the vision and was trick or treating from the stroller, too.

Halloween Festivities

Whew, we are exhausted from our Halloween activity filled weekend!

Our pediatrician's office hosts an amazing party every year. Tons of free stuff...right up our alley! They have lunch, trick or treating, games, prizes, the most amazing balloon making guy, face painting, etc.

The balloon man made him this shark hat. It was seriously amazing. I wanted to stand and watch him make stuff all day!

Our neighborhood has a costume parade following a fire truck around the neighborhood with pizza and treats after. I'm not sure why Davis looks so ticked in this picture!
Oh, the ward Halloween party. Mass chaos but I think the kids had fun! I didn't get a picture of Davis here...he was too busy playing games and getting candy, but Emery and Kennedi had a good time kicking back on some drinks and hanging out together!

Davis Soccer Fall 2011

Davis played soccer with the YMCA this fall. This was his first season playing games and he did such a great job. This kid is a soccer animal! He seriously loved it and couldn't wait for practice and his games. He was the biggest kid on his team and probably the fastest, too. He made a few goals during the season, one of them in the first game. We were really proud of him for working so hard, making a lot of progress, learning to play with his team, and his great attitude! This soccer season also taught us how competitive Davis' mom is...I am going to have to watch myself as he gets into more competitive sports! I will be honest...I really wanted them to win every game and I would get so frustrated when the team was struggling. I know, I know they are 4 years old. I'm working on it. Anyway, Davis is playing indoor soccer starting this week so hopefully he will continue to love it!

Preschool Field Trip

Davis' preschool goes on a field trip every year to Ms. Martha's (one of the women that works at the preschool) farm. They have a tractor ride then eat lunch, have games, and pick a pumpkin from her patch. We had a great time...okay I am going to take that back...taking Emery to these things is not so fun for me right now! She was not her best self and when we got home I was completely exhausted! Anyway, I think Davis had a great time and it is fun to see him with his school friends and cute cute teacher.

Cousin Halloween Party

Aunt Stacy loves to throw parties so she planned a Halloween party for all the kids while they were visiting. The kids had a great time and it was fun to kick off the Halloween season.

They won vampire teeth doing the cake walk. So scary!





I had to wake Emery up from her nap to come down to the party and she wouldn't let me put her costume on. She did, however, like wearing the antennas for her outfit. Hopefully she will be more cooperative on Halloween!

Sam's Baptism

We were so happy that we were able to attend our nephew Sam's baptism and that so much of our family was able to be here for it. He is the sweetest kid and was so excited to get baptized. He is such a good example! Here are some pictures from his big day.

Huber Farm

My nephew, Sam got baptized at the beginning of October so we were lucky enough to have lots of family come visit. It was a Larsen Family Party! One day we went to Huber Farm, our favorite place to visit in the Fall. The kids had a great time finding their perfect pumpkin and we sweat a lot...it was really warm that day! Here are a million pictures of our fun time-I love pumpkin patch pictures so there are a lot!

Our rule was you had to pick a pumpkin you could carry yourself. Davis was testing out his muscles with this one. Lets just say the pumpkin he brought home wasn't quite this big!



We loved having the Moon's stay with us while they were here. Davis and Tyler played together so much better this time around. I think Davis is finally getting old enough to play with the bigger kids! It was so fun!

Tired

Emery and I dropped Davis off at preschool one day then went to the gym. We came home and she went downstairs and started playing so nicely all by herself-I thought I will run upstairs and take a shower while she is playing so well. When I got done, it was super quiet so I knew she was either asleep or getting into serious trouble! This is what I found downstairs. She was just so tired! I love how she is even bent over like that...that playing just wears you out I guess!
