Happy Easter!

I love this picture-I had to take about 10 pictures to get one good one! Getting this kid to hold still is practically impossible! But, I think Davis looks so handsome (and big!) in his cute Easter outfit. We had a great Easter day. Davis and I went to the nursery for the first time at church. I thought he would be fine to just go by himself (he goes to the gym daycare all the time, so I thought it would be the same) but I was sadly mistaken! He has been cutting new teeth and very sad and he was very upset in nursery. We also found some things we need to work on to be a good nursery participant, such as sitting in a chair for more than 20 seconds, not eating playdoh or crayons, coloring, and not eating other kids snacks. Not to mention drinking out of a cup by himself and figuring out what a prayer is and maybe even folding his arms. Oh boy, lots of work to do! Maybe next week will be better.

We had a nice evening at Steve's aunts and then dinner at the Bentley's. Yummy food, good company and a good game of pounce. What more could you want on Easter?! The Easter Bunny must have forgotten to stop by our house, but thank goodness for Grandma Wright saving the day and bringing Davis the cutest Easter basket! Hope your Easter was great!

Nursery is a big step! How come you got to go before 18 months? Looks like you had a great Easter, even if the Easter Bunny forgot your house this year!

The happiest day in a church going Mother's life is nursery. There will come a time when he races in and wants nothing to do with you or Steve... problem is that by this time he is in Sunbeams! Love you guys!

He does look so handsome! So I know I'm not allowed in the nursery for another couple of months. You are one lucky girl if they're letting you in early. It's such a great "mom" day when you can once again go back to church meetings without a child attached. I am anxiously counting down the last couple of months that I will be a hallway church goer.

I must say, I've always noticed that Davis is quite a nice dresser. :) I'm counting down the days until Beck goes to nursery.
