I just finished reading another book by Shannon Hale (Princess Academy) and wanted to recommend her books, if any of you have not read anything by her. My personal librarian, Samantha (my fabulous wsister-in-law) recommended Shannon Hale to me and I have enjoyed them so much I think everyone should read them. My favorite is the very first one, "The Goose Girl", but they are all charming...easy reads, but very sweet stories that are quite uplifting. So anyway, I highly recommend them. So I need a new book to read...Anyone have any recommendations?

Hey Summer! I do have a good book for you. It's called, Love Always, Petra- by Petra Nemcova. It's pretty much a short life story of growing up in communist Czech through being in the Tsunami in Thailand in 2004. I saw her in an interview 3 months after the tragedy and just fell in love with her. She seems so down to earth and sweet. So, I got the book. You can borrow it if you're interested. Next week should work for me if we could just get those other girls to respond!
I love this one!! Goose Girl is one of my favs! I read, "where the heart is" and really liked it. I also just recently read " a tree grows in brooklyn" which is pretty good, but is more of a detail book and doesn't have a huge plot, but overall I liked it.
Don't forget the sequel Enna Burning. Shannon Hale also has a new title Book of a Thousand Days. If you want more recommendations check out my "bewitched librarian" www.lady-lefroy.blogspot.com.
