Still Working...
Okay people, I know you miss me and my posting...or at least I miss posting, but our lives have been completely consumed by our darn kitchen. I am happy to say that we are putting the finishing touches on it this week and we really are almost done. What a project! I am loving the results and really can't believe that we did it ourselves (with lots of consulting from our neighbor, Tyler and Steve's new best friends at the Home Depot!). I am pretty amazed that it actually is turning out as nice as it is. It is kind of scary to experiment on your own kitchen and figure things out as you go, but we have learned a lot (mostly that we don't want to do this again for a really long time!!). I made the mistake of telling Steve I had some ideas for our bathroom and he told me to take a hike and get back to him in 2013! Pictures to come shortly!

Can't wait to see the pictures and the actual kitchen next month. You tell Steve that his mother insists that he talk nice to his wife and not tell her to "take a hike." Love you!
Good for you doing it yourself! :) We are hiring out for our basement, but that's too complicated for our taste. :) Can't wait to see pictures.
